Mattress pads and protectors are essential accessories for maintaining the longevity and comfort of your mattress. They basically keep your mattress fresh and clean, shielding it from spills, stains, and general wear and tear. Most mattress pads are washable, keeping your mattress cleaner.
I recently bought a new mattress and want to purchase a mattress pad. I have been googling mattress pads for endless hours and can’t figure out which one to buy. They start at very low price points and skyrocket into a couple of hundred dollars.
What I’m finding is that it seems all the mattress pads are made with chemicals. I’m googling organic mattress pads. I even found one made of Bamboo. Every company seems to print this statement: “Made with chemicals safer for human health and the environment.” What does this mean? I really would love some advice. Is there a mattress pad that is made with absolutely no chemicals? I don’t know. Maybe it can’t be done. Please let me know what mattress pad you have and if it is totally chemical free.
