Eleni and her amazing art!

I graduated high school in 1972. There are so many things about those years that stand out in my mind. It was the time of peace and love. We were hippies, flower children, free spirits. We wore bell bottom jeans that dragged on the floor as we walked. We wore peasant tops, shoes without soles, peace signs, and bands around our foreheads. When Twiggy became popular we drew on dramatic bottom lashes and wore mini skirts and white go-go boots.  I can go on and on about the fashion of those days. We were the coolest when it came to fashion.

“Make Love, Not War!” That was our slogan. We wanted Peace in the world, something we cannot obtain even to this day. 

We had the best music ever! Where do you even start to name the musicians of that era? Who were your favorites?

Now back to present day. I would like you to meet Eleni Alexis.  Eleni is in her twenties and has a style that is, in our day, so unique! I think she time traveled from 1969 to present day!   I love everything about her style! Her clothes, her shoes, her makeup, her personality!  She is so beautiful and authentic. I have to smile when I see her because she is a ray of sunshine! The ultimate flower child from 1969! And Eleni is so talented! She creates vintage fashion and jewelry that is so stylish. Her paintings are so different and beautiful.  The colors are so vivid!!!
